Dr Rajagopalan, saw my father as a patient, following an earlier diagnosis by another physician, which it turned out, following further tests by Dr Rajagopalan to be wrong,. The original diagnosis appears to have been based on supposition rather than full medical fact. My father initially was told he is suffering with Lung cancer following a visit to Ambulatory care at the QEQM in early May. At 83 years of age this obviously generated a lot of worry and concern for both my father and his family. When my fathers GP learnt of the diagnosis, he immediately referred him to Dr Rajagopalan, who called for a further lung biopsy, as the first biopsy undertaken at the QEQM, had not been a success. When we first meet with Dr Rajagopalan, we immediately felt that we were now dealing with a medical professional, who was doing his very best to assure us that he would achieve an accurate diagnosis based on fact as opposed to a diagnosis that was based on a probable scenario. He was reassuring, spoke to us with utmost respect, at the same time instilling huge confidence that he was definitely the professional to offer us the best expertise the NHS can offer as well as a consultation which reflected the gentleman's ability to be compassionate whilst explaining in full the complexities of the disease my father is actually suffering with, along with the prognosis for treatment and recovery, which following our initial c onsultation at the QEQM, was quite frankly a huge relief, as well as restoring some of our faith in the NHS. My father, family and I would thoroughly recommend Dr Rajagopalan, based on his professionalism, knowledge, and general bed side manor, which can only be described as everything you may wish for in times of a very dark period in our lives.

Dr Rajagopalan is the first doctor to be as thorough as he has been in identifying my husbands difficulties. He has listened to our concerns investigated every symptom, he does not rush consultations and makes you feel like you are his only patient. I can't thank him enough for not making my husband feel like he is old and not worth the effort which we encounter so many times.

Dr Rajagopalan is a very caring and sensitive doctor. I find he explains to the patients in detail the results of tests that have been undertaken, any extra tests that may need to be carried out for further clarity of diagnosis. He then explains with great sensitive the sometime very upsetting diagnosis.

I look forward to working with Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep he is so professional and really listens to his patients, he takes time to try a relieve their concerns by explaining thing in a way they can best understand and will look at them holistically, not just at their lung function. He will seek further advise from other professionals and therapists to optimise their quality of life.
